On August, 25 2026, Sportdek and Guidi.co held the official groundbreaking ceremony marking the start of construction on their new retail and sports complex, located at 600 Boulevard de l'Industrie in Saint-Paul. This major project, valued at more than $6 million, will bring together under one roof the second location of Sportdek and the brand agency's new offices Guidi.co.
A condominium project, a symbol of collaboration
The future building, with a total floor area of approximately 14,000 square feet spread over two floors, will bring together Sportdek and Guidi.co under one roof. This co-ownership structure exemplifies the spirit of collaboration that unites the two companies, both of which are deeply rooted in the Joliette RCM community.
On the ground floor, the second branch of Sportdek will feature a second playing area dedicated to dek hockey, multisport simulators, and a bar-café area with a shop. Upstairs, the agency Guidi.co will open its new offices, strengthening its presence in the region as it approaches its 13th anniversary, which it will celebrate this coming October.
A family story
This project also marks an important milestone in the history of the Guidi family. It is proudly led by brother and sister Jean-François Guidi, president of Sportdek (along with his wife and co-shareholder Audrey Forest), as well as Marie-Eve Guidi, president of Guidi.co , this initiative ensures the continuity of the family businesses founded by their parents, Alain Guidi and Christine Beaulieu.

A transformative investment for the community
The project received financial support from the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) as well as from Desjardins Business – Lanaudière. It will create several new jobs in the region and help promote sports in Saint-Paul and the surrounding area.
Sportdek and Guidi.co would also like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the Municipality of Saint-Paul and its city council, which welcomed and approved the project with open arms. Their openness and support were crucial in making this vision a reality.
Construction is being carried out by Christian Arbour Enterprises, as the general contractor. Several other partners from the region are also taking part in the project.

The official opening of the complex is scheduled for winter 2027.
